What is C8 Hedge?
C8 Hedge is an AI-powered FX hedging platform for treasury teams and portfolio managers. It provides dynamic hedge ratios, detailed FX hedge analysis, multi-currency support, and a knowledge base, accessible through ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Microsoft Teams, or the standalone C8 Hedge web app.
Who is C8 Hedge for?
C8 Hedge is built for corporate treasury teams, portfolio managers, and finance teams that manage foreign-exchange currency exposure. It is equally useful for solo practitioners and large enterprise teams.
What hedge ratios does C8 Hedge recommend?
C8 Hedge calculates dynamic hedge ratios based on macroeconomic signals, intrinsic currency value, carry, and momentum. Ratios adjust continuously rather than staying fixed at a static level such as 50% or 100%.
What is the performance track record?
C8 models have a 19-year track record combining backtested and live data. For EUR/USD, the variable hedge strategy has delivered +1.78% annualised alpha versus a static 50% hedge over the period January 2007 to March 2026, with a 57% monthly win rate. Live models have been running since 2018 (Macro) and 2020 (Intrinsic).
Which currencies are supported?
C8 Hedge supports all major G10 currency pairs and most emerging-market currency pairs, powered by ECB reference rates and proprietary C8 signals.
Pricing and Trial
How much does C8 Hedge cost?
The Pro Monthly plan costs USD 99 per month. Enterprise plans with custom pricing are available for larger teams. Enterprise customers can also subscribe through the Azure Marketplace.
Do I need a credit card to start the free trial?
No. The 30-day free trial does not require a credit card. You can cancel at any time before the trial period ends without being charged.
What happens after the free trial ends?
After 30 days, the subscription automatically converts to the paid Pro Monthly plan at USD 99 per month. We email you 7 days before your trial ends so you can add a payment method in the Stripe customer portal.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes. You can cancel at any time through the Stripe customer portal — sign in with your subscription email. There are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees.
Is there an enterprise or Azure Marketplace option?
Yes. Enterprise customers can subscribe through the Azure Marketplace, which allows billing through an existing Microsoft Azure commitment. Azure Marketplace purchases can count toward a Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment (MACC). Contact sales for details.
Setup and Platforms
Which AI platforms does C8 Hedge support?
C8 Hedge is available as the FX Hedge app in ChatGPT, as a connector in Claude, as the FX Hedge app in Microsoft 365 Copilot and Microsoft Teams, and as the standalone C8 Hedge web app.
How do I connect C8 Hedge to ChatGPT?
In ChatGPT, search the apps directory for FX Hedge and choose Connect. Sign in with the email address you used at Stripe checkout and the one-time code we email you. ChatGPT uses OAuth — there is no API key to paste.
How do I connect C8 Hedge to Claude?
In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors, click Add custom connector, and paste:

Is C8 Hedge available in Microsoft Teams?
Yes. In Microsoft 365 Copilot or Teams, open Apps, search for FX Hedge and choose Add, then sign in with your subscription email. If your organisation blocks new apps, your Microsoft 365 administrator can deploy it from Settings → Integrated apps → Get apps in the admin center. For Azure billing, contact sales.
Do I need an API key?
No. ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft 365 Copilot and Teams all connect by signing in with your subscription email and a one-time code. Server-to-server integrations can request a named API credential from support@c8-technologies.com.
Data and Security
Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Documents uploaded to the knowledge base are private to you and your organisation. C8 Technologies never uses customer data to train AI models.
Who can see the documents I upload to the knowledge base?
Only you and the members of your organisation (if you choose to share within your team). Documents are never shared outside your organisation or used to train any AI model.
Are responses generated by AI?
Yes. All responses from the C8 Hedge agent are AI-generated. Hedge ratios and FX rates are calculated from real-time market data via the C8 engine and then presented through the AI assistant of your choice.
